The 8.4-inch Aft-Seat Head-Up Display (HUD) monitor provides the aft-seat pilot the same control layout, and HUD symbology as the pilot with a “HUD repeater” display. The back-seater HUD version assists a two-man crew in maximizing combat effectiveness and situational awareness.
This 8.4” has an SVGA (800x600) AMLCD display bonded with high-strength cover glass including EMI shield, heater and anti-reflective/anti-glare enhancements. Dual-Mode direct Light Emitting Diode (LED) backlight with high-bright day (sunlight readable) and Night Vision Imaging System (NVIS) compliant modes. Added backward compatibility and forward expansion extends the life of the platform.
